IDT delivers its telecommunications services over a high-quality network comprising more than 100 switches in the U.S. and Europe and owned and leased capacity on 16 undersea fiber optic cables. IDT delivers also obtain transmission capacity from other carriers. IDT delivers its international traffic worldwide, pursuant to its agreements with U.S.-based carriers, foreign carriers, and more than 20 of the companies that are primarily responsible for providing telecommunications services in particular countries (many of which are commonly referred to as "Post, Telephone and Telegraphs," or "PTTs"). We also maintains a high-speed network carrying Internet traffic to support our dedicated and DSL Internet services, and Net2Phone's Internet telephony services.

Using our own national telecommunications backbone and fiber optic network infrastructure, we provide our customers with international and domestic long distance telephony, prepaid calling cards, Internet services, brochure display, national roadside assistance services, and more.
- IDT's success in developing innovative products and services, and expanding our geographic reach, has translated into impressive growth in recent years. Our annual revenues (excluding those of Net2Phone) increased more than nine-fold from Fiscal 1997 to Fiscal 2001, rising from $132.8 million to $1,230.9 million. In addition to increasing our revenue base, IDT continues to develop and invest in new, promising technologies and services, while expanding its traditional business lines. In an excellent example, IDT utilized its strengths in voice and data transmission to unveil Net2Phone®, enabling computer users to place calls via the Internet to a regular telephone.
